    I might be viewed negatively for saying this, but honestly this is exactly why I just rattle off the short answers they want to hear in TR interviews. No more, no less.

    that’s not negative, but rather a Best Practice: all TR questions should be answered with a confident yes or no without elaboration. we just finished a study of all the questions in the “History and Doctrine Discussions” forum.

    What I found interesting is to ask questions that the Bishop or SP have to answer.

    For example, after I gave the appropriate answer to the garment question, I asked the Bishop (knowing the he is athletic)

    does he wear his garments when he goes to the gym or runs? Then he said this is “Brother abc” talking not “Bishop abc”.

    (It could of been President as well.)

    Short answers are good if you want to quickly get through the interview.

    Short questions are good if you want to understand more about the person you’re talking to.

    You must be diplomatic though. Don’t give away too much. (They do the same.)
