GuestGot a real kick out of this Mormon group in later life making good, clean music! Notice the tribute to the white shirt and tie of Mormonism: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=885BRi_aeHwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=885BRi_aeHw” class=”bbcode_url”> Isn’t it great to see Mormons “letting their hair down like this” in middle age?

GuestI heard about a “band” in a town not too far from me made up of a bunch of 35-50 year olds. They named the band, “mid-life crisis”

Dude, you’re stifling my dream.
I’ve had the fantasy of passing the ward talent show screeners with a song like this just to pull a switcheroo on the day of, cranking it up to 11, and dropping some m/

GuestOK, you’ll all probably never trust me again….these people aren’t Mormons!! (that I’m aware of). I’m joshing you! They are the Norwegian Contestants in the Eurovision Contest. I saw them on TV and thought they could be Mormons –the white shirts, ties, clean cut look, conservative hair styles, clean lyrics, The singer looks like a RS president!
May Fools to you all!
If you check out their live performance, you can see the length of the lead singer’s skirt isn’t “appropo”…and there are no G’s…(as you would expect from many SP’ and BPric members).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_SAgGoOCdU I have to confess, in addition to the music, I like the fact that they are in the latter half of their lives, particularly the guitar player. I can relate. I still rock out like this with groups around town…except the music is often harder — never too young to do young things
