I’ve been thinking that we ought to start bumping up old threads on a regular basis – especially since we get so many new participants who weren’t around when the older threads were written and discussed. I am going ahead and bumping up one today, but I want to make sure all of you are ok with doing it on a regular basis.

If everyone is ok with it, I will take the responsibility to do this. I don’t want to bombard everyone with lots of older threads, so I was thinking about bumping up one or two each week.

    What think ye?

If prompted by the spirit to bring an old thread back to the foreground, do it. I have no problem with that at all. Like you mentioned, it could be a problem if done too much … but I think everyone here has a good sense of that.

I agree, especially if you get the impression from some comments by new members that they might have the same concerns/issues that have been discussed before.

The difficult thing is if an old thread has 10 pages of 10 posts per page…some may not read such long threads…but at least we can bump it up and let them decide and start their own new ideas on it.
