My company can’t make the full payroll at the end of the week, including my own check. I delivered recommendations this morning to the owner to cut more staff, including me at the end of next week. :’-( Which means we are done in this area. We’ll be moving back to Maryland where I have family and a big support network. I’m looking at less time for the boards here in the very near future.

I just went through a bout of umemployment myself, and I am glad to be done with it! Take care of your family. I think this community has shown a strong sense of teamwork – don’t worry about us when you’re away (but you’re always missed!) Thanks everyone. I will still be around off and on when I can. There may be periods of several days when I am not on though. It’s impossible to predict.
Still alive. We moved out over the last week. Still looking for work, but staying in the Atlanta area for a few weeks to see if I can get something through my personal networks here.
