I had to take it back to the library before I finished it, but the chapter church education was really interesting. I will never hear the phrase “Wilkinson Center” in the same light again.

I finished the book this weekend and really loved it. I too loved the WoW chapter (and posted about it on my blog.) See http://www.mormonheretic.org/2010/09/28/coke-rum-cake-and-president-mckay/

I also enjoyed the parts about correlation: http://www.wheatandtares.org/2010/09/21/comparing-correlation-with-the-supreme-court/

The information about the Nigerian Mission in the 1960’s was really interesting, as well as the stuff on Ezra Taft Benson and the John Birch Society. While I expected that the GA’s differed on certain things, it was really interesting to see the conflicting opinions.

The baseball baptisms in England was very interesting. It does seem that Pres McKay trusted some of his mission leaders more than he should have.
