Again…more examples of how the Book of Mormon was not used as the main message or conversion tool for early church conversions (not to diminish it, but to state the difference from how we view it today). Maybe because of limitations in having enough copies and getting them printed for everyone…but the restoration message and Zion prior to the 2nd coming were the strongest messages for the most part.September 26, 2013 at 7:49 pm #274303Anonymous

I had once heard the price but I don’t remember it, but it was probably pricey for the time – books are expensive in our time.

GuestGood point if you buy something, you’re effectively investing in it. Today’s missions could learn a lot from yesteryear – language learning aside.
