has anyone read this book by Margret and Paul Toscano? It’s one of my favorite books. Some of the early chapters are kinda repetative but overall the ideas presented are very thought provoking. I like everything that I’ve read from them, however, i do think that the way that paul expresses his contempt against the church isn’t productive although i do agree with his frustration at times. this book is the least concerned with social problems in the church and more concerned in what the title says, exploring the theology. What do you think of this book if you’ve read it?

I haven’t read the book, but the Mormon Stories interview with Paul was very interesting. I totally get why he was excommunicated. I don’t necessarily agree, but I see how he drew lightning on himself. His views on Christ were interesting and very different.

I read most of Strangers in Paradox, also a very interesting read. Very insightful. Paul & Margaret wrote it a few years prior to their disciplinary troubles. I agree with Brian that the interview with Paul is a must-listen. If he said and did half the things he claims in the interview, I don’t see how any other outcome was possible.
