    Yes, and in support of this — garments which are so long for people with shorter legs, having them hang below already modest shorts is not a reverent way to wear the garment, and in my view, is justification for altering the garment without changing its basic design.

    I don’t usually wear garments, unless I need an undershirt.

    Like last Sunday, my dress was too see-through on top, so I wore my garment shirt underneath.

    Still, I respect if people use garments as a spiritual tool to remember covenants, spiritual experiences, etc.

    Someone I love will go through the temple soon and I have suddenly come face to face with some of my extremely negative feelings about garments. I don’t want this for her. Is the previous poster saying that she is being told she can go through the temple and NOT wear garments? I have worn my garments for more than 25 years and never answered “no” to the recommend interview question about them, I don’t know.
