Call me an ouroboros but I think we all have a limited view of just how limited our view really is. There’s nothing wrong with that, we all have to operate within our view.

Yeah that’s a tough one. The “want” has to well up from within. The “anti” material had no effect on me when it was being pushed on me from external sources. I closed my mind off to all that stuff. It was very much a matter of not wanting to study something that I had already made up my mind about. Right now I’m not willing to consider entomophagy but if I got hungry enough…

I just remember it being a bit circular to me…if the priesthood has said it, it will be confirmed by personal revelation. If you don’t get the personal revelation, keep trying until you do…because that is what is right.
I think the talk was a little forgiving. I wanted to revisit it myself because I recently was asked to accept a calling and it’s just not in the cards right now. The plan was to use that talk in my defense, that the leaders received their communication and I mine but the communication was at odds and meeting in the middle required both lines to be in agreement, something along those lines. Anyway, I think they got a whiff of my stink; they haven’t asked me about the calling since they floated the suggestion a month ago.
I think they know our family is real busy these days.

We all have blind spots; the trouble is we are blind to them.
It is “we” see through a glass, darkly – not “they” see through a glass, darkly.
