Although I have no compunction wearing shorts & T-shirt shopping, as I usually do that going to or coming from the gym, or just let any members I happen to meet make that assumption. ( I live in the “mission field” so that happens only occasionally.

After being AWOL from the Church for 15 years, I went to my Bp first for some counseling about some hang-ups I had with the Church. After 3-4 such visits I got engaged to a lady who was a temple worker. She asked only that I ask the Bp what it would take to get a recommend. To make a long story short he asked only that I start attending Church again and start wearing G’s again as a condition for a recommend to get married in the temple. I don’t expect that is normal practice, but at least one Bp was flexible. (See the long version of this story in Introductions section)
Hi. I’m new here and have not made my intro yet, but wanted to let you know that for those of you with short legs, they do make men’s bottoms in short. You just order the regular size and say short. My husband has a long torso and vey short legs. So he has been buying the 36 short for 12 yrs now. He can wear knee length shorts without the TG showing. HTH
