    I think this thread just confirms what I have come to understand. Prayer is about the most unreliable way to get answers to specific questions. The answers are vague and generally unreliable. My contention is that if it is so difficult to get a correct answer then what is the point of trying. If you can never be sure you got a real answer it is the same as getting no answer.

    Perhaps prayer should be limited to more ambiguous questions where yes or no is not required.

    What Cadence said, with the caveat that I love the concept of prayer, as I choose to view it.
