I was wondering about the idea that BY didn’t call himself a prophet and found this thread. Has some interesting stuff about natural prophets.

I find it interesting that the blogpost refers to the new testament version of prophecy being the testimony of Jesus Christ… Something all saints are supposed to have… And that the calling of prophet is less than apostle.

    Interesting stuff.

Agreed…I must admit I posted here to get opinions. I respect you all enough to know most here are brighter than myself and most are honestly seeking information and drawing conclusions rather than looking for facts to support their desired conclusions.

So many here have ado much information as they have been on this path so much longer. So I hope all will way in.

I couldn’t help but reflect on the conversations about the use of objects as a prophecy aid that has been discussed here…and when mixing that with the info regarding natural prophets and there relation to apostles in this post

I like and respect JStapley. I usually learn something from what he writes.

I think the prophet / apostle division back in the day is a lot like the representative / senator division (or the House of Commons / House of Lords division) – that one is more “common”, if you will, while the other is “selected”, so to speak.
