My sacrament meeting today had some of the best talks I have heard in years. There were two. One on Why I believe in Christ and the other on Why I believe in God. It was a very genuine and honest meeting, the kind of sacrament meeting for which I always hope. It made me feel closer to the speakers and I felt the spirit. It makes me wonder if talking to people in my ward and telling them what I want from church is starting to have an effect. I had previously told both individuals what kind of talks resonate with me and why. I guess it doesn’t really matter why it seems like the church around me is evolving a little. I am just really glad for what I see as small steps for the better. I thought it might be worth sharing on the board.
Thank you for sharing this. It is exactly why we created this category. Those experiences are wonderful.

It is my hope and prayer that our existence, our persistence in staying, will have a leavening effect that brings more diversity to an already great religion.
