    FWIW:

    Wesleyans and Methodist do the AWANA program too. My kids love it. Nothing wrong at all with that program, it builds on sound Christian principals.

    My kids didn’t do Awana’s. They did attend an Seventh Day Adventist Elementary school, daily bible lessons were taught there. Later they joined a Christian Theater group, all the classes had bible references and mini lessons. Every performance began with a circle up for prayer and hymn praise. On performance Sunday’s they held church at the theaters. All of them were pretty nice.

    When my kids were in primary they just smoked their class members in biblical knowledge. It was kind of fun to watch.
