I know I keep mentioning this, but it was my “world” for a long time.

I just got released as PP a few months ago. In our ward, I think M&G’s email is the route for the PP and Bishop but would be cautious with the teacher. Emails can create awkwardness, even sent nicely depending on how well you know the person. You really never know exactly what was said by the kids. I have been in Primary and heard the entire lesson, come home and my kid’s interpretation is way off of what was said.

Maybe you could just print an essay, hand deliver and say “my child said this and I looked it up. Crazy this new essay. Have you seen this? Anyway, I am not sure what was said but thought since this was your lesson last week you may find this interesting”.

I think it is a great way for the essays and LDS.org stuff to be heard. As the PP, I would have loved to know this was going on and wouldn’t make a huge deal of it but maybe just in passing mention it to the teacher. If you had sent me the link/email, I could have said something in sharing time but not make a big deal so the teacher felt bad. I can’t remember who said it, but the primary teachers are not known for their gospel in-depth knowledge. If you don’t know the teacher, I would be cautious about sending it to her. I would love our Bishop to have someone share this stuff across the pulpit. I don’t see him ever doing that but I would love it. He would at least look it up himself because it was on LDS.org…it is the online “safe” online place.

Here, until this is pointed out, no. one. will. ever. see. it. People go off tradition and “don’t bother looking things up because we all know….”.

    My opinion of course.
