I’ve gone downright infantile with a Big Chief tablet and a Husky pencil (held in an ice pick grip, of course) when some stuffed suit was rambling on about nothing in particular and we were told to take notes.

GuestI don’t believe that is how you call someone to repentance. It is more fanfare and a stake leader pounding their chest. Speaking to me privately about it would be respected. But if it was done this way, I would simply ignore it and wait for stake leaders to roll on to the next ward so we cukd get back to our business in our ward of loving, supporting, and seeking god as a community.
Thanks for your message Brother/Sister stake leader. Let’s have a closing prayer and call it a day.
It would bug me. I would let no one know. I would not respond to it. I might be tempted to report lower ht/VT numbers the next few months. I would increase an outpouring of live and support for people in my stewardship.

“Heavenly Father, we thank thee for this test of our patience, but ask thee to send us some better stake leadership next time…”
