I thought I would share one of the reasons I do believe in God, and a pre-Earth and post-Earth existence, other than the many times I have felt the Spirit and some overwhelming feelings of love from God when I have prayed.

I have had many experiences throughout my life of remembering myself doing things on Earth, as if I was watching myself do them at a different time. Yes, it’s like deja vu, only different. I still have some remembrances, however, they have not happened yet. I don’t usually have much detail, and it only has to do a small glimpse into one place in time, sort of like looking through a keyhole. These experiences have tended to just reinforce to me that there is a higher purpose to life, that we are eternal in nature, and that we were prepared to come here.

A similar experience happened when my first daughter was born. This is something I can remember very clearly, even though it was almost 13 years ago (yes, that means she is almost a teenager).

After we brought her home it was just me and her sitting on our couch in the living room. As I held her I looked at her eyes and I remember a sense of deep connection, the way she looked at me I can’t describe it.

It was as if she was looking at me in a way that she already knew who I was, and I had a very strong feeling that I already knew her. To this day, and not that I don’t love any of my other 4 children any less, I have a special bond with her.

Wait until you have Grandchildren. Your feelings will be magnified even further.

Now, not only do you have children, you have son’s in law & daughter’s in law.

You have their parents added to your family lines. The family tree opens further into the eternities.

It really is magically to contemplate.
