i will add to this post over time as i learn how to use this site. thank you for letting me join. i just started to learn about sites like this over the past few months. i have a family who is all asking questions right now. there are 4 in my family and my brothers and sister are all on the phone every week wondering what church this is. as we all share things and learn things, there might be about 25 of us that are now taking weeks off of church and getting on the phone to talk about this. we find that we don’t normally have time to talk, but if we skip church it lets us talk about the church. we setup a phone thing where we all call in and one person shares a new thing. we are spread across utah in several different cities, but we are all seeing the exact same thing. looking forward, i see all of us leaving unless we find an answer. my family is in absolute turmoil right now. we are so mad and upset. the flood of information on all sorts of anger and sadness. my sister-in-law has had to see her doctor. she is being put on medication to deal with this. we are a family in crisis.

max, your participation justification when you registered here said you are looking for answers. What questions, specifically, to you have? I generally suggest using the “Search” function at the top, right of the page to look through our archives for posts about the topics you want to discuss. If you comment on any of them, it bumps them up onto the active topics list so everyone else can see it and comment, as well.
Peace. I just wanted to say welcome. Please do come back and share with us – it’s more than likely many of us have the same questions you do. These 25 people you meet with — are they family members? How did you meet with each other, and what is it that everyone currently believes? You said all 25 believe exactly the same thing, so I’m curious what that is. Welcome! Without knowing much about your situation, I hope you can use this forum to find out more information and different views as you and your group sort things out. It’s very easy to be angry at first – I know I felt very betrayed when I was learning “the truth” from source outside the church. I think you will find this site and the postings it contains a valuable resource on your journey.
