I’m new here

I heard about this forum today from another less-friendly forum, and thought I would come take a look. I am a 47 year-old father of 2 young girls. I served a mission to Taiwan, and currently live in Utah, grew up in the Church. I currently have the greatest job in the Church, Gospel Doctrine Teacher. I have been roaming the web for 2-3 years now looking for a site like this one. I love topics dealing with faith and spiritual things.

I’ve been on the web for 3 years searching for a place like this. Most of the places I’ve been were sites critical of the Church and I have spent years defending my beliefs on those. And most of the friendly websites are too busy or are social dating sites, and since I’m happily married, those don’t interest me.

I am happy to be here, and hope no one minds if I just jump in on a conversation.
