    IM, I also suffer with a form of scrupulosity, so I know what that feels like. It was pretty severe when I was first diagnosed. It’s much more milder now than what it used to be. Meds and realizing church leaders, even prophets, are sometimes wrong when interpreting and teaching church doctrine has helped a tone. Hawkgirl, I agree with you about the Mormon Therapist. She is wonderful and helping people with scrupulosity in our church.

    Confession can make a mountain out of a mole-hill. You are forcing the poor bishop to be involved in something he doesn’t really wish to be (unless he’s a bit of a perv). Work it out with God. Confess to him. Jesus has the power to forgive you. Your bishop doesn’t.
