Does anyone know anything about jmb275? He’s posting lots of topics quickly, and all of his comments (at the root level) are negative. He always adds a disclaimer about his family, but the net result of every single comment is condemnatory. Also, he keeps undermining others’ comments subtly by making statements like, “It sounds to me like many are simply excusing the church.” There have been quite a few similar jibes, when that simply isn’t a valid reading of the comments he’s confronting. He also has stated more than once that he really doesn’t want to be involved in any way with the Church.
I’m just concerned and want to know how everyone else feels. Does anyone know anything about him? Is anyone comfortable communicating with him directly and finding out if he really wants to contribute constructively?
I don’t know, I think he’s just fresh and hot in the crisis mode. Let’s see how things go. I agree. I just want to keep an eye on it. I’m interested in seeing how he responds to both of our most recent comments. I think he’ll broaden our appeal to some extent, although as he says, he’s still very Stage 4 angry. If 10% of the people at NOM could find something accessible here, they’d come through a lot better than the environment that is created over there. I think this guy will make us more accessible. Tom Haws, OTOH, kind of blew it over there.
