The Restoration Church of Jesus Christ (the LGBT church) seems to hold to the idea of a quaternity strongly.

I’m pretty neutral on the subject, but it is interesting that it is an idea that keeps on popping up in various different places, notably Carl Jung, who thought that the Catholic veneration of Mary helped add a female component to the Trinity which was lacking.

Of course, the LDS doesn’t believe in the trinity strictly speaking, but it’s an interesting development in the godhead.

Heavenly Mother & Father – both make up God, to me. But I don’t think it really matters, what you say in your prayers, as long as it’s from your heart, genuine. I feel the spirit, when my heart is full of humility/submission & love for whoever God means to me now. I realize I’m still pretty naive in who God really is, but thinking of Heavenly Father & Mother inspires love, comfort & openness in me now.
