dande48 made a fairly complicated comment, and LadyOfRadiantJoy completely misunderstood it. The insults followed from that misunderstanding. I added an Admin Note. I will shut it down if they can’t knock it off.
Not to be mean about it, but I don’t think rrosskopf is in a place where he will be capable of understanding the people that typically come here. Ordinarily I wouldn’t have a problem, he can be ignored, but I do think of lurkers and the cases where people feel compelled to engage because of what was said.
While it’s nice to have a more orthodox perspective here, the orthodox perspective really isn’t this unknown, elusive thing. I know this one place I can go every week to hear it.

I’ve been kind of hoping he tuckers out, but I’m getting the vibe that he’s not the type to give up so easily if only because he’s always right (in his own universe anyway). I think the way he was interacted with today was good. I’m willing to give him a break for a couple more days, but alas I think I agree with you Nibbler – that leopard is not about to change his spots. Perhaps a bit more of a stern “warning” in private? A lot of people come here looking for healing. Sometimes that includes venting, but overall it’s healing. I get the feeling he came here to correct people. Which, by the way, is what made MM’s suggestion that he post an intro all the better. “What leads you here?”
In a weird way, his comments might be okay for lurkers – because of the responses they generate. People who come here for healing but don’t comment might appreciate the reproof he has been getting here. Having said that, if he keeps it going for a few more days, sterner rebukes might be necessary. I don’t want to have to ban him, but I won’t mind that result if he can’t understand and accept that sort of reproof.
I just read his most recent comment in the thread about garments. We will see how he responds to my latest comment directed to him explicitly. I laid it on the line directly. I activated new member forummember1982. The justification was Quote:I’d like to comment from time to time. I believe that the Church is Jesus’ church and that Jesus Christ is the Way.
We might want to keep an eye on this one.
