    They conduct surveys regularly.

    Cadence, I see that selection method as guaranteeing that every leader will think essentially alike – and cause all kinds of efforts to influence the selections. I personally see no improvement overall, since there are SERIOUS issues with that structure in every denomination I have studied – certainly as many and as serious as we face in the LDS Church.

    I would say exit interviews instead of letters to get your name off the church rosters, but 1) I think I know about how successful that would be and 2) it would just make the barrier for people that truly want the church to leave them alone that much harder to break through.

    Never said I was looking for improvement just accountability.
