GuestI just want everyone to know I will have limited access online for a week, starting on Friday. My wife and I are attending our son’s college graduation in Missouri on Saturday, and I am attending a niece’s high school graduation in Oklahoma next Tuesday. I will be traveling and otherwise engaged from Friday, the 17th – Wednesday, the 22nd. I will take a computer with me and try to check in at night, but I will have a rather full schedule. My sense of humor wants to say something about an absent cat and playful mice, but I won’t mention it.

GuestI’ve had a massive throat infection, and in addition to the antibiotics, the doctor recommended gargling with a mouthwash with a lot of alcohol — the alcohol is more effective at killing germs than the salt-gargle. I countered that other things have more alcohol than your typical mouthwash, and he said, the more the better. He approved. I just found a new dimension of ‘washing of bodies’…

GuestI actually thought of that, cwald. 😆 wayfarer, we accept lots of things that have alcohol in them as medication. As long as you’ve been told to use it by a doctor.

Now, if you find a way to get throat infections on a regular basis just so you can renew that prescription . . .
