I was told of the importance of a good subject line, so I put everything interesting in there about myself.

But, if your bored, I’m also From Western Idaho. Have 2 kids with one on the way. Thinking of buying a Mazda 5 micro-van.

Welcome! I can’t really comment on the vehicle choice, although my DH had a Mazda 626 when he was a teen and has fond memories of it. :D

2 kids on the way? You like to do things in full force, don’t you?

    Welcome.

    Thanks for correcting me, Ray.

Ok, but still…3rd kid on the way is still full-force … parents can’t play man-to-man defense with the kids anymore, its time for zone defense, as they say. #3 makes it interesting!

    Hi myclob,

Welcome to the community here! I get a great sense of your passion and drive for truth from your net presence elsewhere. I hope you enjoy our little corner of the spirit world.

I have a challenge for you though. You gave us the interesting and most pertinent information about your outer self, the one the world sees from afar. Tell us about what is going on inside. The stuff nobody can see on your business card :-) The nitty gritty stuff the science of religion explores. That’s the tough part.

Good to know people are doing research on me. I’ll do my intro my way, and you do it your way Brian, unless you have any specific questions, I don’t know how to just start bearing the inner workings of my soul. This is defiantly a “Mormon” network… everyone just starts assuming they know what the other person should do, and micro-managing things… Brian tells me I need to bear my soul, in a very self-righteous condescending, he knows something about me, I’m a spiritual-guy-sort of way, when we have never met, or talked, and my post are taking down because they have polls on them? Why does your website have polls if you don’t want people using them? The other thing seems pretty stupid too… the content was taken down because it was covered in other topics… well you need to organize the content better… I’m not going to read the whole website every time I want to post something, just to make sure no one else brought it up… why don’t you just let people respond if they want to respond, and not respond if they feel it has been covered before? It seems like things are being micromanaged if you take down content that is duplicative… every conversation is duplicative… the beatles sang a song about it, there is nothing you can do that hasn’t been done… that is the problem with these forums, that they are conversations not organized places that everyone can organize a topic once and for all, and have it done with… you just keep having the same old conversations over and over again… I just wanted to have those conversations with whoever wanted to have me, but I think I’ll just go somewhere else…

I hope you enjoy this forum as much as I have. I haven’t been here long, and still have certain church issues, but this website has been really helpful in helping me see certain things differently, and I can get to discuss things here I can’t really in church in a positive way.
