Found out yesterday. I’m joining the ranks of the unemployed today. My head will not be in the “mode” for StayLDS for a couple days. I gotta figure out a plan this weekend. Talk to you all later.

Brain, I’m closing in on four months myself. Family contributions and the Bishop’s Storehouse for us right now. In that regard, thank God for the Church organization.
So sorry to hear that! I’ll be thinking of you both. Oh, and if you are open to relocation, send me a resume. One of our High Councilors runs an employment placement company, and I will circulate your resume as widely as I can. Terrible market right now. How are you guys holding up? Optimistic and frustrated – about like you’d expect. I still have some good possibilities, but they’re moving SO slowly. Brian, Plz email me your resume too.

I think so, John, but I will do it again. Sent my resume to you John. Thanks. It’s always good, if nothing else, to have other friendly people look it over and critique. Do you want me to circulate yours? Are you open to relocation? Quick Update: Yay! I am employed again. I started the new job on Monday. It’s at another engineering firm, but this one is much better situated in the market (mostly government contracts and not depending on commercial real estate developers as clients). The company is much smaller, but it is a good opportunity to jump in and fix some serious problems to help them grow.
I’ve really had to scale back my online presence. For now, this site is my top priority. I wanted to get back to writing some posts for Mormon Matters, which I enjoy. I will also stay in touch with Faces East.
I don’t think I will be able to get back into Open Mormon as actively. I don’t see myself having time for NOM anytime soon.
