    Here was the justification text:

    Quote:

Obedience to law and doctrine purity.

A quick search on the email address yielded:

    http://ldsmovement.pbworks.com/w/page/15644860/Rodriguez%2C%20Miguel%20Angel%20Tinoco” class=”bbcode_url”>http://ldsmovement.pbworks.com/w/page/15644860/Rodriguez%2C%20Miguel%20Angel%20Tinoco

I have a concern that they may quickly violate:

    Quote:

Please do not start discussions that lead to a debate with the results of finding the one correct answer to a problem. Topics like this will probably be moderated.

I’ve skimmed some of his blogs (in the link).

    Thoughts?

I am concerned. It looks like the person is a member or supporter of an offshoot group whose leader claims to be the first true prophet since Joseph Smith. That would explain the justification text – calling the LDS Church to repent for straying from “pure doctrine”.

I say let it sit for a while and see if they try again or attempt to reach out to us.

Also, should we have a generic email account to use when we want to reach out to someone? Maybe StayLDSadmins@____.com? Simple password related to the site?

    Edit:

I moved the email info to a more appropriate thread so it doesn’t get lost in an unrelated thread.

Thanks for your work in looking I go the guy and in the email thing. I think that could be useful.

I am concerned about the guy and I googled his name as well. My first thought before looking at anything else was that he was here to call us to repentance. Not many of us are all that into strict obedience and that’s pretty obvious with a casual reading. City’s plan is fine, see if he tries again. If so we could express our concerns. Side point: he may have mental health issues and be off his meds.

I didn’t hear anything or get any new requests. Maybe having a pending request prevents people from making a second request with the same email address. I just deleted the original request. Time will tell if they’ll try again.
