Fwiw, I read the Proclamation to the World as explicitly allowing for men to stay home while their wives work. Some others here don’s see it that way, or fall back on the fact that most members don’t see it that way, but the words themselves make it very clear, imo.
I think the choice of words used in the Proclamation are just vague enough to accommodate all situations. Words such as ‘primarily’ are more encompassing than ‘solely’ plus the section that states “other circumstances may necessitate individual adaptation” pretty much allow for anything.
