I’m sending a PM to mikethemormon. I’m a little concerned that he may not be in the best place for him at this stage in his journey. I’d hate for him to get into some deep reading at StayLDS and end up losing some of his enthusiasm for the church.

I agree. Those questions are much more like what might be asked on LDS.net. I almost recommended that to him, but couldn’t bring myself to do it because I dislike their self righteous arrogance so much.

I don’t really have a problem with his take on things, Heber, I worry that we might taint him. He seems to be asking orthodox questions from an orthodox point of view – in an unorthodox place (sort of like trying to order kosher at McDonald’s, you might really get what you’re looking for).

There are a couple of small things in his post that tweak my troll bell a little, but he might be exactly what he appears to be. Let’s keep an eye on him for a bit and see if he switches tone.
