Thanks. Really enjoyed this interview and wish it had been twice as long! When I clicked on comment at the site, it seemed like the only option was to leave a Facebook message. If you’re hoping for more exposure and traffic on the site, Facebook might work as much against it as for it. I wouldn’t want to leave a comment as the “real me” because (at least right now) I don’t discuss any of my issues with the church with my name attached.

Guesthttp://mormondiscussion.podbean.com/http://mormondiscussion.podbean.com/” class=”bbcode_url”> Today I sit down with Karin Mecham. She recounts her story of growing up with a very dogmatic Grandfather who was well known in the Church in his home area. She also shares how her parents offered balance with their support and non-judgemental approach. She shares her bad choices which led to a teenage pregnancy and recounts how she handled it. This story goes to show that while generally policies may be good, that in the end the Spirit should be our guide as there are always exceptions to the rule.

Today we talk about how faith develops. We try to create a model that is helpful to those who are in a faith struggle but desire a reconciliation to faith. We split faith development into 3 phases to simplify it and discuss at length what each of those phases entail and how to reflect on them in a way that allows faith to triumph over doubt.
