The thread at NOM is getting quite a bit of attention. I think there are several NOMs who have/will be contacting you. If you get a email from Sundance…you should really jump on it. He asked about you today. He use to post here, and was one of the original members of the Mormon Expression podcast (George). He still has connections over here, but I haven’t seen him in awhile. http://mormondiscussion.podbean.com/ MormonDiscussion interviews a member of the church named Morris. Morris discusses his having been abused as a youth, his faith crisis, and his taking a less then fundamental approach to the LDS faith.
Like many, Morris found it difficult to reconcile his faith when the house of cards came crashing down. When this happens many feel like outsiders in the church and find great difficulty in being accepted by other members an even family. Perhaps by hearing Morris’ Story we can all better understand how one can go from fully faithful to loss of belief and in doing so find ways to be more of a Christlike friend to those who see the gospel a little differently then we do.
