The Salt Lake Tribune today carried a major article regarding the upcoming South Park play, “The Book of Mormon.” Our own John Dehlin was quoted. He presented ten reasons why it could be a good thing, including the idea that we are finally achieving a BIG RELIGION status. It was great having his input there. It remains to be seen how the Manhattan event will play out. I hope it travels, at least to Los Angeles and other major American cities. San Francisco would be an interesting city to see it in (just saying). CONGRATS John, your status is growing, as a representative of thoughtful consideration and spiritual diversity. Shalom.

I’m a huge South Park fan. Can’t wait to see the Broadway. I will be a little bit careful and not say that the writers of South Park are “inspired”, but I certainly believe they are brilliant, insightful and have a great capacity to understand the human psyche. Usually the folks who criticize the show are the folks who haven’t watched it enough to understand the agenda of the writers. Can’t wait to see the play. :)
