Is anybody else listening to Jared’s podcasts? I’ve heard a few interviews with Jared, and I really loved them, so I thought I would like his Sunday School podcasts, but they haven’t hit the mark for me. Thoughts? I’ve had it on my list but haven’t had time yet. I’m traveling this week so I will try to download some and have a listen. With podcasts as well as live SS teachers, often I find the personality as Important as the content in keeping my interest.
I’ve listened to 2 of the lessons. I think they are pretty decent. I like how they are coming from a literature perspective, diving into the stories for their own sake. I’ve only been motivated enough to listen to 2 episodes so far though … I think I would be more motivated to use them as prep for a lesson, either as a teach or student. I haven’t been going to SS for several months though, so that isn’t factoring in.
