Well, this will probably be my last post on this forum for a few years. I depart for the Prove MTC this Wednesday, and I hope that I can serve honorably within the dictates of my own conscience. I just wanted to officially thank all of you for the support and encouragement you have provided since I joined this community. This really is a remarkable forum! It’s filled with some of the brightest and kindest spirits I’ve ever associated with. I can’t even number the amount of times all of you have brought peace to my mind. Finding StayLDS.com really has helped me “stay LDS” in spite of all my worries and doubts. I am so blessed. THANK YOU!!

Thanks! Make sure you catch up with us after the mission is over; I’d love to hear how it went! I served as a traditional believer, so your story is likely to be interesting and full of philosophical energy.

    Good luck!!

I’m glad we were able to help. God bless you as you serve to be a proper instrument in his hands – or the best missionary you personally can be, which is the same thing, imo.

You probably will be allowed to e-mail on P Day. If you can do so in good conscience and not violate mission rules, feel free to send me an occasional update / experience / whatever, and I will post for everyone.

That’s really cool! Good luck to you, and may the Lord watch over and guide you. Try to see your perspective in a positive and productive way — you will be able to reach out and help/serve people like few other missionaries around you. Seriously. Use your talents and special insights to uplift people you will meet in ways that few others in your mission will be able to do.

Thanks for the kind words about our community. We’re glad we could be a part of your journey.

I really do hope you can occasionally return and report, like Ray said. If nothing else, hope to hear from you again in two years!
