Just posted another controversial thread that allowed her to post links to anti-Mormon sites and introduce a famous anti-Mormon. I put it in the parking lot for all the admins and moderators to see. She attempted to excuse the thread by talking nonsense about how maybe this person was a fraud like Mark Hoffman, then she admitted knowingly breaking the rules by linking to anti-Mormon sites. What are we going to do with her, and who wants to do it? Frankly, I think it should be someone other than me – since I don’t want her to think I am being the hammer and acting unilaterally.
After reading this post, I’ve tried to pay more attention to MWallace. Of the things I read today, She brings in some really tangential and weird perspectives. My instinct is a temporary ban, with the explanation to her that it is for consciously and intentionally breaking the rules of the forum. It’s ironic, given the current discussion of church disciplinary councils, but I think she needs to understand that the rules mean something and will be enforced. I’m not sure she realizes that currently. What think ye?
1 week ban. I will do it, and also email the explanation. I will wait until later today or early tomorrow to see if anyone else is opposed to the idea. A short ban is not that big a deal. It’s just a week to cool off and think things through. They can still read the forums, just not post.
