GuestLet me augment my last post in this thread, by adding that I recognize Morzen is a bit of a troublemaker, as indicated in other admin posts here (which I had not read). Perhaps this is what sparked the reaction by us. Perhaps it is time to let him go. March 4, 2010 at 6:15 pm #226314Anonymous
GuestIt is a very tough balancing act Euhemerus. I totally understand your points about being patent with folks. We tried coaching him some through PMs. He seemed to do OK for a while, and then went off again. Morzen’s IMO just isn’t done cooking yet — still too raw. The heat of his anger needs to die down more. If you want a better feel for this, he immediately ran over to NOM to try and “expose” us and get a pity party. He was more angry there. Here’s a link to his thread:

GuestYes, I saw that. I understand. My point was that I didn’t see anything in that post itself that was that bothersome, but you’re right, I don’t know a lot about his case. Nevertheless, as I said, I totally support you guys. I trust that the reasons were good. It is indeed a tough balancing act, and one that we are still learning how to walk.

GuestMWallace did it again – and I want everyone to know I deleted a couple of her comments in case she says anything. In the post about “social justice” whe went on a rant about how the Unitarians are accepting of homosexuality and gay marriage – then said more than once that the LDS Church leadership condones of and actively encourages suicide among homosexual members. That’s a very short summary, but the comments were WAY over the top.
I know that homosexuality and social justice are her pet projects, as they are the heart of almost every comment she writes, and I am fine with that – but charging the leasdership with encouraging and approving of the death of members is too much for me.
