GuestI locked it. I’m very uncomfortable with it, especially the charge that somehow the LDS Church is uniquely behind the castration of children. I asked for links showing that it is LDS policy, and that request got ignored. I also am getting a bit put off by MWallace generally. His posts puzzle me. His comments generally have been ok lately, but his posts . . .
What do you think?

GuestI agree about the relevance, I don’t know how it applies to our mission. I just don’t want to offend by taking what they may interpret as a harsh action. Whatever we do lets do it gently.
There are all kinds of discussions that I think are interesting but don’t apply to our focused mission here. I don’t know if we can get this point across to people who may want to make StayLDS their “one stop shop” online.
BTW I think MWallace is a woman. In the Jon Hunts.. thread “when I was a little girl.”

GuestYou are right; she is a woman. I knew that, but I’m getting senile.

GuestThere is something odd about MWallace. They swing back and forth between extremes that almost don’t seem like the same person. That’s just what comes to mind. I think it is one person. I almost wonder if they are a super clever troll, or possibly ill. August 26, 2009 at 1:01 am #222096Anonymous
GuestYeah. I’ve considered whether or not there is a bi-polar issue going on. August 26, 2009 at 3:48 am #222097Anonymous
GuestBeen too busy to check this out. MWallace is the social crusader, right? August 26, 2009 at 10:35 am #222098Anonymous
GuestYep. That’s her. August 26, 2009 at 11:34 am #222099Anonymous
GuestI redirected the conversation to FD’s Mormon Matters post on gender, then re-locked it. I’d like to delete it entirely after a few days – when MWallace and george have had a chance to read my comment. (If george still is around. I find it fascinating to see the difference between those who will take correction and those who won’t.) -
