I just want to let all of you know that we picked up my daughter from the airport tonight. She had been on a plane or at an airport for about 20 hours – and it was 3:30AM in Germany when she landed in Reno. Yeah, she’s tired.

She shared some mission stories with us on the way home and over dinner – and I am glad she had the experiences she shared. I know missions are really difficult for some people, and I know she hasn’t shared the hardest parts with us yet, but I’m glad she went and had wonderful Mission Presidents (husband and wife).

She will be released tomorrow evening, so my other daughters have been taking turns being her companion. It’s been heart-warming to see.

That’s really nice, Ray. Our high council welcomes the family when returned missionaries give their reports – I hope you have that opportunity. I still have a long wait for my son but I am looking forward to it. I know there are hard parts and challenges he doesn’t share.

    Awesome Ray!

Great that she was able to have those experiences, but I’m sure your ecstatic to have her home again.

I am so happy for you and your family, Ray! I hope you get to spend some real quality time with your daughter before she has to jump back in to regular life.

I enjoy hearing Missionary experiences. If you can & it is ok with your daughter, give us more details.

I’m sure it will be in installments as her experiences are revealed over time.

You can make it “A Chapter a day” or “A Chapter a week”.

    Just a suggestion.
