GuestSo, since “the new policy” came out in November of 2015, I’ve heard it referred to as “the new policy” “the recent policy” or just “the policy”. These are pretty inadequate, because the Church has many policies, some of which deserve their own discussion. The Priesthood/Temple Ban has been referred to as “The Ban” for so long that it has de factoownership of that simple term, sort of like “The Drive”, “The Fumble” or “The Catch” in the NFL world. But it seems to me that we need a specific identifiable term for “the new policy”. I have seen it referred to as “the gay policy”, but that’s a bit too much of an oxymoron.
So, what shall we call it?
