    This is a good thing you are doing. I had a long chat (actually long chats, plural ;) ) with DW. She told me about a seminary teacher that she had that was an amateur historian. Her teacher brought up many of the issues that are discussed in the essays without backing down (and this was several decades ago). The end result? The “issues” simply aren’t issues for DW. She learned a more accurate flavor of history in her youth.

    I don’t know if her teacher ran any risks, I’m sure these sort of things were more taboo back in the day (or maybe not, I don’t know), but I think it was a sacrifice that paid off for her decades later. The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time to plant a tree is now.

    Thanks Nibbler! That gives me some confidence that I am doing the right thing. I am having troubles remembering what the names of the polygamy essays are in gospel topics. I find them so hard to find, except for the major one listed on the right side.
