My son is the Director of News & Social Media at Kalamazoo College.

He recently interviewed Taylor Petrey who is LDS & the Department Chair of the Religion School.

He recently wrote a book titled: Tabernacles of Clay.

It looks interesting. Attached is the link to the article.

Has anyone heard of Taylor Petrey before?

His book looks interesting from what you can get from the web.

According to my Nook, this is his 2nd book. The 1st is titled: Resurrection Parts. Early Christians on Desire, Reproduction and

Sexual Differences. (Deseret Books did not publish either book.)

I have not heard of Bother Petrey but his books sound fascinating.

He is an unorthodox member with fascinating views of multiple issues.

I love what I have read of him and his writings.

He is also interviewed on the “Listen, Learn, and Love” podcast. His book is on my list to buy now.

I did listen to the Mormn Land podcast. Worth the half hour IMO. I liked how he made reference to doctrine changing and gives examples (one of which is of course eternal gender). He mentions how he’s read GC talks from the 1970s and it was a very different church then – something I wholeheartedly agree with.
