NOWmormon runs a site that is dedicated to making church leaders express, in October’s General Conference, remorse and regret for the wounds caused by “concealment” of historical facts over the years.

Don’t activate his request. If someone wants to send him an email asking about his intentions, I am okay with that, but I think he simply wants to promote his site and recruit people to join his cause.

Oops. I activated the account, saw this, then deactivated the account.

I see the notification before stuff in new threads.

Is there a way to move the account to a new pool to mark it as “processed” before us trigger happy folk can make a move 🙂 ?

Edit: Or activate the account and be in a better position to dialog based on stuff they say in the first post they submit.

Normally, I would say activate and see what happens – but, in this case, his website was a huge red flag. It is a recruitment site for organized protest and agitation.

I try to look at email addresses if there are any bells that go off from justifications, and his mentioned wanting to talk about his Mormon “wounds”. In and of itself, that shouldn’t have been a red flag, but the phrasing just seemed odd. His email address was a .org suffix, so I took a look.
