Just curious if you think an off-topic forum might be useful on a site like this. While the conversation is good, there are times when I think it would be nice to expand discusson to topics other than simply religious ones. Perhaps that has already been thought of and deemed incompatible with vision or philosophy, but I thought I’d throw it out there for discussion…. [General Discussion]seems like a good place for that. What’s on your mind?
Nothing really on my mind….I think our discussions are highly focused on the mission, which is good. I just don’t see people posting on topics of even broader interest, like current events, advice, and other items of non-spiritual interests. I read the General Discussion forum as meaning “General Discussion consistent with the STayLDS mission”, but that’s just me. Perhaps I need to just post broader discussion topics and see if anyone is interested in General Discussion Yeah, SD – you’re not posting enough currently. 
😆 😆 The “General Discussion” forum section can be used for limited amount of what most boards might label “off topic.” That doesn’t make it a free-for-all of course, we still have to maintain the overall tone of the site.
