    Me too. I’m well aware that marijuana can trigger paranoia and schizophrenia, but the effects of many painkillers are scary. Worth remembering that some of them belong in the same family as cocaine.

    My wife is very limited to what pain killers she can take. She has had bad reactions to many of them, including ones that give her terrible nightmares. Not sure if mary jane would give her such a reaction or not.

    “Mary Jane” has many psychological consequences, but they need to be weighed up against the opposition. Morphine is particularly bad. I gather the American military won’t use it because of these, but it is in common use elsewhere in the developed world.

    Also if you’re smoking the stuff, then there are additional consequences. It needs to be taken in non-cigarette form I think.
