Dear friends,. We are moving west . Just took a position with Family Pawn, a great company in Saint George, Utah. I will be heading out first of next week to get started. For friends/listeners in the Utah and especially in the Southern Utah area…. can’t wait to meet you face to face. I would love to know how many of you are near Saint George and also if you know of any good 3BR/2bath (or larger homes) for rent!!!! (want to be between 800 and 1200/month)

    Thanks Bill

Moves are big changes and when kids are involved, the whole family has to go through change and some react different than others.

Good luck with it all and the stress of making it happen. I hope St George is “the right place” for you for now! Maybe there is work there for you to do for individuals that need comforting and teaching. You never know.

Ah, that figures. I’m passing through Ohio next week and was about to get in touch to see if you could meet for lunch. But anyway, congrats on the new job and the move!

I bet you won’t miss the Ohio winters! Good luck in your new venture, I’m sure you will have the same kind of impact there as you have here on the boards and in Ohio.

You will have a great time taking a quick hour+ drive over to Zion’s national park. You have some great “parks” near you now, but Zion’s is GREAT!

My kids and I (from the hot humid south) were there one time and my kids got out of a pool when it was about 115 and a bit breezy. They were in the shade and within about 5 seconds they were screaming at me to get their towel FAST as they were, “freezing to death”. :-)

You are going from brutal winters to brutal summers – but it is beautiful there.

I have family in St George. It’s way too hot for my taste. Good luck with the move!

Thanks my friends. I have COPD (mild but constant asthma that I take prescriptiuon medicine for) humidity in Ohio makes breathing tougher, can’t wait for St. George air

DB, you’re going to love it there. I lived in St. George for a few years and I really miss it. Summers are hot, but most of the year it is delightful.
