What do all of you think? The topics absolutely are fine, but the the bitterness and over-reaching stereotypes are going to have to be tackled head-on to be constructive at all. Does anyone in particular want to approve it and then respond immediately to try to set the tone? That’s my inclination – that someone should try to set the proper tone for discussion as soon as it is approved.
I posted a response. Let’s see how it develops. I believe it. It is not inconsistent with some of what I have heard about in Mesa wards, although I wish it weren’t so. They are trying to make Provo look like Heretic Town. Wow, if that’s Mesa I’m glad I have my 7+ miles of separation! I thought she said “town” – maybe a small town with a higher LDS percentage. I could really see it in that setting – although I have heard a couple of ignorant comments in different places around here. Anyway, it’s too bad people are like that.
