Not that it matters at all to everyone here (except in how it might affect my online time), but I thought I would share an update about my personal church life. I will be released soon (probably in a couple of weeks) from the High Council. The college where I work has five LDS members this year, so an Institute class was approved for the first time in the 158 year history of the college. I was asked to be the instructor and was sustained and set apart today.
I’ve taught Seminary three times in three states (different US regions, actually, and will continue to team-teach with my wife in our home this year), but I’ve never taught Institute. I’m really looking forward to this calling.

Congrats, Ray! I am sure you are a terrific teacher! That’s cool Ray! You will be an awesome teacher. I couldn’t think of a better person to be an influence in the lives of young adult members of the Church going to college. I wish my oldest daughter who is going to college this year lived in that area!
