I’m not loving the opening post from this guy. He looks like he’s here to prove to everyone why they are wrong about having doubts. Maybe I am reading it wrong. Thoughts? I didn’t approve his post. I don’t know I kind of like his idea that “true or false” is the wrong question. I know a lot of people here will point out the less than sweet fruits of the church, but I think it can be a good discussion. We’ll see. I suspect he’s either a troll or just an asshole. I immediately thought he was trolling. I’m waiting to see if he returns to post anything further.
It was interesting to see the responses from everyone else. Since he clearly doesn’t fit in, it wouldn’t surprise me if he just moves on, not interested to stay.
I have been out of commission for the last couple of days, traveling for a job interview. I had the same concern when I read the post tonight. Let’s keep any eye on him. He might leave voluntarily, but we might surprise him, and he might rethink things. We’ll see – and be ready to step in if necessary.
