    The numbers I have seen that I think are most accurate are between 35-40%. There are a lot of qualifiers in that sentence, but that’s my guess.

    Do you think there was a material difference in polling “active” mormons vs. “active” catholics, or other religions? Meaning, maybe it doesn’t explain all mormons because many are inactive…but it might be the same for catholics, so the comparison is still between active members of their faith???? Just thinking about it and wondering :problem:

    I think there are enough people who identify as Catholic even though they don’t “practice” the religion that the “believing” numbers for Catholicism might be lower than other denominations, given that adherents to other denominations who aren’t “practicing believers” probably don’t identify as members to the same degree – but that’s just a guess.
